Oops. Thought that might be the Northern Junco Warrior for a minute. I know where you are at– been window birding myself for a few months now but gaining everyday. Hope you are too. Birds and their behavior have saved my sanity!
Maybe you should arm them with agent orange or something like that that will kill off all homo sapiens….then maybe they would have a chance.(the hard scrapping VT kid in me).
Or better yet….how about cyber warfare where we embed each device with the sweetest bird song and 30 seconds of instruction on yogic breathing and body awareness (the yogini who just spent 15 min watching the sun rise) .

Lots of Blue Jays today in So Hero, VT Just came from Hilton Head, SC where we noticed fewer birds at our feeder. Perhaps the woods were full of food.
