Before the snow falls here tonight in the Northeast, I offer you a blizzard of Snow Geese and Ross’s Geese taking off at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in central New Mexico earlier this month. (YouTube is so cruel to video quality — but after a calm start you will indeed be enveloped in geese.)

    I, too, just got back home from Bosque. A magical place. Saw all the birds you have shown here, but my pics do not compare with yours!
