ODIN OUTDOORS
From his first day here, Odin has been a birder. And it didn’t take much prompting. It only took a pair of White-breasted Nuthatches counter-singing in the yard as Odin went out for his morning business. Odin looked up — and the nuthatches landed on his life list. (White-breasted Nuthatch was also the first bird on Bryan’s life list — about 40 years ago.)

This Life List will no doubt grow. But Odin is hardly one of those uni-dimensional, avian-centric naturalist pups. He’s a generalist. So watch this space as Odin discovers more wildlife and wild places.
